At the Loudoun Valley HS Awards Ceremony, Friends presented Kristina Soliland with the 2022 Jane Pratt & Jed Shilling Blue Ridge Education Awards.

Kristina is a delightful young woman whose formidable accomplishments were duly acknowledged: as our turn to present came early in the program Tuesday evening, we were the first to present her with a scholarship then we had the chance to cheer for her again and again over the course of the next hour as she received 5 additional scholarships!  After the ceremony, as we visited with Kristina and her mother, we learned that Kristina has also been awarded a scholarship by the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor where she will pursue her college studies.
